物理與電子科學學院簡介
湖南師范大學物理與電子科學學院于1938年起起源于國家師范大學物理和化學系。1953年，調整了湖南師范大學系，并建立了物理系。 1999年，物理和科學學院合并了基于應用電子技術教育部的電子信息科學和技術部。 2002年，科學學院建立了物理與信息科學學院。 2018年，信息紀律被分割，學院被更名為物理和電子科學學院。
該學院目前擁有三個本科專業：物理學，電子信息科學技術和應用物理學。有150名教職員工，包括49位教授，43位副教授，5位高級實驗學家，39位博士學位主管和122名擁有博士學位的教師。
