這組詞都可表示“檢點(diǎn)，守規(guī)矩”。它們的區(qū)別在于:
behave常通過修飾語表達(dá)各種各樣的言和行；
conduct則強(qiáng)調(diào)舉止有度，符合要求、意愿等；
demean表示“與…相稱，得體”，有時(shí)有“降低身份”的意思；
acquit的賓語常是反身代詞，多用于令人贊嘆或令人滿意的行為舉止。
behave,act
這兩個(gè)詞的共同意思是“做”，在很多場合下可以互換。其區(qū)別是:
1.act強(qiáng)調(diào)采取行動(dòng)；而behave強(qiáng)調(diào)人的行為是否符合某種行為標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，如道德或禮貌等。
